You. Everything is plain markdown you can export as a zip anytime, and deleting your account deletes the vault. The AI reads your pages only to file and answer, and it only ever adds notes: anything destructive asks you first.
Yes: Notion (Markdown & CSV export), Evernote (.enex), Google Keep (Google Takeout), OneNote and Samsung Notes (pages exported as Word .docx), and any folder of markdown: Obsidian, Logseq, Bear, or notes exported from Apple Notes. Your files convert to markdown right in the browser, with folders, images, and dates kept. No account details or exports are ever sent anywhere else.
Neither app lets a web app read its library, so both need a one-time export first: Apple Notes on a Mac exports Markdown directly (File ▸ Export as ▸ Markdown), and OneNote exports Word documents. The Filed desktop and mobile apps will import both straight from the source when they ship.
